Pakistan violates human rights in Jadhav case: Sushma

1.Government will take additional loan of Rs 50 thousand crore from the market in the current financial year :-

The Government has decided to take additional loan of Rs.

50 thousand crore through timely securities in the current financial year. After reviewing the loan plan with the Reserve Bank, it was decided that by March 2018, the government will reduce the recovery of such short-term securities i.e. T. Bills 86 thousand two hundred and thirty crores to 25 thousand six crore rupees.

It is notable that in the budget of 2017-18, under the gross market borrowing, five lakh eighty thousand crore rupees and net market borrowings totaled four lakh twenty five thousand crore rupees. Rs. 3,48,000 crore through periodical government securities and Rs. 2002 crore through T-bills are being raised.

 

2.Three divorced Muslim women (marriage rights protection) bill introduced in the Lok Sabha :-

The Central Government introduced three divorced Muslim women (Marriage rights Protection) Bill- 2017 in the Lok Sabha.

Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad presented this. The bill will be discussed in the House today itself. Presenting the bill, Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that this law is historic and it has become necessary to pass a bill in this regard by the House to get justice for Muslim women after the Supreme Court declares divorce A Bidhat.  

He dismissed the objections of some members in this regard and said that this law is not related to any religion but is related to women’s honor.

Dismissing all the objections related to the bill, the Law Minister said that there is a historic day which is being introduced in this House to provide justice to Muslim women. He said that this law should be worshiped ,It will not be related to worship or religion, but for women respect and dignity.

 

3.Rajasthan’s 12-day strike ends :-

In Rajasthan, doctors have terminated the 12-day strike after an eight-hour meeting with ministers and officials.

More than nine thousand doctors are returning to their duty, which will restore health services in the state.

The state government has accepted almost all demands of serving and resident doctors. This agreement came just two days after the direction of the Rajasthan High Court in which it had instructed the state government to take back legal provisions to bring the doctors back to work.

After the High Court directive, both the state government and the doctors were under pressure to reach any agreement. Following Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s intervention, four ministers of the government and BJP president Ashok Paranami were tasked to end the strike of doctors and after the marathon meeting, the solution was resolved.

 

4.India and Afghanistan open the second air route :-

Between India and Afghanistan, another cargo plane has been opened between Kabul and Mumbai.

Its purpose is to promote the export of fresh fruits and herbal medicinal herbs from Afghanistan.

Earlier, the first freight airway between the two cities was open in June. After the opening of the new air route, the first consignment of fruit from Kabul reached Mumbai. This air route has been started with the supply of fruits through aircraft from Hamid Karjai International Airport in Kabul.

 

5.Pakistan violates human rights in Jadhav case: Sushma :-

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj condemned the incident of molestation of her mother and wife during a meeting with Indian citizen Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was illegally detained in Pakistan and described this incident as a serious violation of human rights and said that India Now with strong arguments, Jadhav is making efforts to provide relief to the International Court of Justice.

Mrs Swaraj said this in her statement in the Rajya Sabha on the events of Jadhav’s meeting with her mother and wife across the wall of glass wall. Giving detailed information about the incident of mistreatment by Jadhav’s mother and wife, Pak officials said that the agreement with Pakistan and the Government of India regarding this meeting ,His Pakistani government has violated it.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said in a statement in the Lok Sabha about the family of Kulbhushan Jadhav’s visit to Islamabad, that in the name of security, Pakistani officials forced Jadhav’s mother and wife to change their clothes and also to throw Manglasula and Bindi.

 

6.Central team sent to Tamil Nadu to assess the damage caused by swine flu :-

A central team has been sent to Tamilnadu to assess the damage caused by the Oka storm and the Northeast monsoon.

Joint Secretary, Home Ministry, Sanjeev Kumar Jindal is leading it. The team will also visit Kanyakumari , Chennai and the suburbs. Prior to handing over the report to the Center, the Central team will discuss the situation with the Chief Minister of the state, EK Palanisamy and senior officials. The central team of eight members will be divided into two separate groups and will visit the areas affected by the cyclone.

These teams will first interact with state officials and then take stock of the damage caused by cyclone in Chennai and the surrounding area. For the damage caused by the cyclone, the state has been given Rs 13 thousand 520 crore as assistance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi 19 During his Kanyakumari visit on December, he promised every possible help from the people of the state.

 

7.Special Representative of the Center in Jammu Kashmir case meets Governor and Chief Minister :-

In the Jammu and Kashmir case, Special Representative of the Center, Dineshwar Sharma, got separate meetings with Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Mahbuba Mufti in Jammu.

After the meeting, Ms. Mehbooba Mufti tweeted that consolidated talks on Jammu and Kashmir is the only option. During the meeting between Mr. Dineshwar Sharma and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, the matters related to the state were discussed. During this , there was a discussion on the conversation between Mr. Dineshwar Sharma’s various delegations in a two-day visit to North Kashmir.

Before concluding his visit, Mr. Sharma has a program to meet some delegations in Jammu.

 

8.Uttar Pradesh government withdrew the case of prohibitory orders against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath :-

The Uttar Pradesh government has withdrawn a case of prohibition of prohibition againstChief Minister Yogi Adityanath and 14 others in 1995 .

These people include Union Minister of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla and BJP MLA Sheetal Pandey. This case was registered in PP Ganj police station of Gorakhpur on May 27 , 1995, for the purpose of organizing a meeting in violation of the prohibition of district administration . Gorakhpur district administration has admitted that orders for filing applications for the withdrawal of the case have been received in the court.

The prosecution officer has been instructed to take action in this regard. Significantly, during the winter assembly session recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during the Criminal Law Amendment Bill, 2017While presenting it, it was announced that 20 thousand lawsuits inspired by the politics of protest and protest in the state will be withdrawn.

 

9.Ugandan army claimed to kill more than 100 rebels :-

Uganda’s army claimed to kill more than 100 rebels in an action in the Democratic Republic of the East Democratic Republic of the Congo.

These rebels belonged to Ugandan Allied Democratic Forces. These rebels had killed 14 peacekeepers of the United Nations earlier this month . This was the most deadly attack on the UN army during the last 24 years.

 

10.US considers India as the preferred destination USA’s multinational companies :-

American multinational companies are considered talented and India a preferred destination for skilled workers and H- 1 despite B visa to the rigid rules Indians prefer the same job.

R Chandrashekhar, president of NASSCOM, a top organization of information technology, said that there is so much lack of skilled workers in North America that despite the strict visa rules, multinational companies give priority to Indian professionals only.
