The Parliament session of Parliament is in progress. The action of both the Houses is being interrupted due to disruption in the political situation of Karnataka and Goa. There is hope of a storm on Friday too. However, BJP MP Rakesh Sinha can present a bill related to population control in Parliament. At the same time, Congress has given notice of adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha for allegedly killing Dalit in Gujarat. In the matter of concealing information about the fraud committed by banks, Congress MP Motilal Vora has given a zero-time notice in the Rajya Sabha.This bill proposes that population control should be equally applicable to the community, region and caste at all levels. Apart from this, there is also a proposal of sterilization after two children.

2.IPS Aparna Kumar returns home after hoisting tricolor at Mount Denali, welcome to airport:-

ANI Aparna Kumar, posted on DIG post at ITBP’s Northern Frontier, has returned home after completing Seven Summits Challenge. When he arrived in Delhi, he was strongly welcomed. Aparna is the first IPS officer to unfurl the Trica on America’s highest mountaineer Denali (Mount Denali). He achieved this achievement on 30th June. Tell us that the 2002 UP cadre IPS Aparna Kumar successfully surpassed Mount Danali in North America in its third attempt. The height of Mount Deny is 20 thousand 310 feet above sea level. Aparna became the first civil servant and IPS officer to achieve this achievement.Aparna has already climbed the six highest mountain peaks of the six continents of the world. Recently he also completed his South Dhruva campaign. After completing the South Dhruva campaign, Aparna Kumar started the journey of Oslo, 111 miles of the North Pole from 4 April to Oslo. Aparna Kumar reached the North Pole on January 13. Aparna successfully reached the South Pole after walking 111 kilometers on the snow in January. During this time he was also equipped with 35 kilograms of equipment.

3.Karnataka Crisis: Supreme Court to hear the case again today:-

Karnataka Political Crisis  President of Assembly rebel legislators Thursday Karnataka after the Supreme appeared before the KR Ramesh Kumar (Karnataka Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar). Ramesh Kumar said that the MLAs whose resignations were not in the prescribed format have now been received in the correct format. He will inspect that the resignations are voluntarily given and are authentic. Only then will they take a fair decision. At the same time, 14 rebel MLAs returned to Mumbai on Thursday evening after meeting Speaker in Bangalore. In Mumbai, a local BJP leader said that these MLAs would stay in Mumbai for only two more days. The Supreme Court will hear the matter again today. Assembly session from today, in the midst of a ruckus, the assembly session is also going on between the ongoing crisis in Karnataka today. In view of the latest political situation, the BJP will raise this issue in the House and it is considered to be a ruckus in the Opposition. Following the BJP’s performance, in two-kilometer radius around Bangalore, the injunction has been imposed under Section 144 of the CrPC. On the basis of intelligence, the Bangalore Police Commissioner issued the order on Wednesday night. It is known that the state Assembly session is going to start on July 12. Speaker said, the speeding of the work will not be done by the working speaker, refusing to take immediate decision without considering the Supreme Court order on Thursday and said that he should not expect that he will work at the speed of light. Earlier, the Supreme Court had directed 10 rebel MLAs to appear before the speaker till 6 PM. The bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Deepak Gupta and Aniruddha Bose said that if the legislators are willing to resign, then give the information to the speaker. The court also requested the speaker to listen to the legislators and immediately decide on it. Whatever decision the Speaker decides, the court will be presented on Friday.The BJP said, “Speedy decision soon  after the order of the Supreme Court, Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar also reached the Supreme Court in Anfananan. The court appealed to the court to withdraw the order, but the court did not give any immediate order on the speaker’s application. Today, their application will also be heard. Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar said that the court has asked me to take a decision. Should I have to work at the speed of electricity? I have just won for the constitution … I am not taking hasty action. My commitment is to the people of this state and to the Constitution. According to the news agency ANI, the Speaker will meet the three MLAs who had recently resigned from their post at four o’clock in the evening. Kumaraswamy said, the government is readyto confront the bravery and solidarity of the non-confidence motion in the Assembly, surrounded by the resignation of the 16 rebel legislators of the ruling Congress-JDS coalition, ready to face the government’s no  -confidence motion. After the cabinet meeting on Thursday, Chief Minister Kumaraswamy expressed confidence that his government will continue. On the BJP’s demand to resign, Kumaraswamy said why should I resign? What time do I need to resign? Congress leader and state irrigation minister DK Sivakumar on Thursdayexpressed hope that good feelings will prevail on the legislators and they will withdraw their resignations. Speaking from the meeting of Mahesh and BJP leaders the market of talks got hot on Thursday with the meeting of Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Tourism Minister of JDS leader Sahe Mahesh, National General Secretary of BJP Murlidhar Rao and senior party leader KS Eshwarappa. . The news of his visit to the Government Guest House came immediately after the meeting of the rebel leaders with the speaker. Chief Minister Kumaraswamy called this a sudden meeting. He said that despite efforts to destabilize the Congress-JDS alliance is getting stronger. Mahesh also said that due to the BJP leaders being in the Guest House, a sudden meeting took place and he had a brief discussion on issues related to the parliamentary constituency.

4.Centre issues fresh bid document for strategic disinvestment in Pawan Hans:-

Centre yesterday issued a fresh bid document for strategic disinvestment in Pawan Hans.This is the third time in last 16 months; the government has sought to attract a buyer for Pawan Hans, which is estimated to have posted the loss to the tune of 72.42 crore rupees in the previous fiscal.The government holds 51 per cent stake in Pawan Hans, which has a fleet of 43 helicopters. The remaining 49 per cent stake is with Oil and Natural gas Corporation (ONGC).The Preliminary Information Memorandum (PIM) said the GOI  has in-principle decided to disinvestment its entire equity shareholding of 51 per cent in Pawan Hans Ltd (PHL) by way of strategic disinvestment to investors along with transfer of management control.In addition to the above, ONGC has also decided, that it shall sell its entire shareholding of 49 per cent in PHL, at the same derived price per share and on the same terms and conditions.According to the 122-page PIM, the bidder should have a minimum net worth of  350 crore rupees. In the earlier bid document, this amount stood at 500 crore rupees.The PIMdocument stated that in the case of the consortium also, the combined net worth of all the members of the consortium should be 350 crore rupees.It further said that for entities which are Air Transport Service Operators (ATSOs) and hold up to 51 per cent equity share capital of the consortium, the net worth limit and profitability will not be applicable.The last date for submission of Expression of Interest (EoI) is 22nd August and intimation to the short-listed bidder is 12th  September.

5.India-US trade talks to be held in New Delhi today:-

India and US will hold trade talks in New Delhi today to discuss bilateral and economic issues.The US delegation is being led by Assistant U.S.Trade Representative for South and Central Asia, Christopher Wilson.The Indian side is being led by Additional Secretary level officer from Commerce and Industries Ministry.The visiting USTR delegation will also call on Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal today. This would be the first meeting on trade issues after the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with US President Donald Trump in Japan on the sidelines of the G20 summit.

6.Will increase inter-operability, information-sharing with Indian Armed Forces: US:-

A top American General Mark A Milley has said the Pentagon will prioritize increasing inter-operability and information-sharing capabilities with the Indian Armed Forces.General Mark A Milley, who has been nominated as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said this in response to written questions for his confirmation hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee yesterday.He said his strategy would be to continue to bolster and maintain continuity of the defence relationship with India through existing bilateral military-to-military dialogue as well as participation in senior-level meetings.If confirmed by the Senate, Milley would replace General Joseph Dunford as Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff.

7.Sri Lanka court remands Muslim doctor after monks protest:-

Sri Lankan government revoked a three-month detention order against a Muslim doctor arrested on false charges, but a local court remanded him after protests by Buddhist monks.The developments happened at Kurunegala court last evening when State Attorney acknowledged that there was no evidence to hold Mohamed Shafi but Buddhist monks and other groups opposed the release saying it could lead to violence. The doctor was arrested on allegations that he sterilized some 4,000 Sinhala Buddhist women against their wishes. The Criminal Investigations Department in a 210-page report made it clear to the magistrate that the allegations were false and that there is a police official involved in a massive fabrication of evidence to frame Dr Shafi.The doctor was arrested on 24th May after allegations in wake of Easter Sunday attacks which killed over 250 people.The doctor has filed a fundamental rights petition in the Supreme Court challenging his arrest.

8.ICC World Cup: England beat Australia by 8 wickets to enter Final:-

In the ICC Cricket World Cup, England stormed into the final after beating defending champions Australia by eight wickets in the second semifinal at Birmingham last night.England chased down the victory target of 224 runs in 32.1 overs riding on opener Jason Roy’s 85 off 65 balls and Joe Root’s 49 not out. Captain Eoin Morgan’s also contributed unbeaten 45.Earlier, electing to bat first, five-time world champions Australia were bowled out for 223 in 49 overs. Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid took three wickets each for the hosts.
England will now face New Zealand in the final at Lord’s on Sunday.

9.Indian Weightlifters win four gold in Commonwealth C’ships in Samoa:-

In Weightlifting, Youth Olympics gold medallist Jeremy Lalrinnunga smashed three records in a power-packed performance but failed to register a clean and jerk lift on day three at the Commonwealth Championships in Apia, Samoa today.In a remarkable performance, the 16-year-old Jeremy, competing in the 67 kg category, obliterated the Youth World, Asian and Commonwealth records in the snatch category with a lift of 136 kgs.Other Indian lifters continued impressive show by winning four golds, two silvers and a bronze.Achinta Sheuli lifted a total of 305 kgs to win the senior and junior  men’s 73kg gold.In the women’s 76kg category, Manpreet Kaur lifted 207 kg to clinch the yellow metal.
