- 10 ASEAN students interacted with Chief Election Commissioner of India, Chief Election Commissioner invited young people to participate effectively in all democratic activities :-
Chief Election Commissioner of India, Mr. Om Prakash Rawat today spoke to 250 students from 10 ASEAN countries.
Students from Brunei, Darussalam , Cambodia , Indonesia , Laos , Malaysia , Myanmar , Philippines , Singapore , Thailand and Vietnam are on a trip to India under the auspices of the India-ASEAN Student Exchanges Program under the aegis of the Ministry of External Affairs .
2.Policy Commission and Google signed letter of intent to increase artificial intelligence (AI) in the country :-
Training will be focused on giving advice to Hekathon, startup and providing research grant.
With the aim of promoting ecosystem of emerging artificial intelligence (AI) and mechanical knowledge (ML) of India, the Policy Commission and Google will work together on several initiatives, which will help in creating AI ecosystems in the country.
For this, the Policy Commission’s Advisor Ms. Anna Roy and Vice President of Google India and South East Asia Mr. Rajan Anandan signed a letter of intent. On this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Policy Commission, Mr. Amitabh Kant was also present.
3.India has signed a $ 200 million loan letter with the World Bank for National Nutrition Campaign, this campaign will be run in 315 districts of all the States / Union Territories :-
India signed a $ 200 million loan letter with the World Bank for National Nutrition Campaign.
This amount will help in achieving the goals of the Indian Government (minimizing 38.4 percent by 2022 to 25 percent) to reduce dwarfism in the age group of 0-6 years.
The Prime Minister had launched a nutrition campaign in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan on March 8, 2018.
4.Kane Williamson heavily over Virat Kohli, Hyderabad beat Bangalore by 5 runs :-
The 39th match of IPL 2018 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
In this match, the Hyderabad team’s bowlers once again conquered Bangalore by 5 runs in an extremely close match on the basis of their excellent bowling and almost convinced their place in the playoffs.
Hyderabad captain Ken Williamson was adjudged Man of the Match for his finest innings.
The Hyderabad team, with 16 points after the win, is in first place in the points table.
5.Asim Pandya resigns as President of Gujarat High Court Lawyers Association :-
Asim P Pandya resigned on Friday on the chairmanship of the Gujarat High Court lawyer association.
In the Jamnagar court, the lawyers of the High Court had passed a resolution of unbelief against the murder of a lawyer named Kirit Joshi. After which he
resigned from the post of lawyer association, In order to stay away from work on Tuesday in protest against the murder of lawyer Kirit Joshi in Jamnagar, the lawyers of the high court had offered to the Association President Asim Pandya.
But they turned down the proposal. After that more than 80 lawyers of the High Court had passed a non-confidence motion against Asim Pandya.
6.Putin holds office for the fourth time in Russia :-
Vladimir Putin in Russia took oath of office on Monday for another term of six years.
He was elected the President for the fourth time, with nearly 77 per cent of the votes cast in the elections held two months ago.
Andrei Kievi Hall of Grand Kremlin Palace was fully decorated for the swearing-in ceremony.
Putin took a copy of the gold-carving constitution, taking the oath of serving the Russian public, protecting their rights and independence and protecting Russia’s sovereignty. He said, “I believe in the duty of my life and my life to make everything possible for the present and the future of Russia.”
7.Diesel will be home delivery, know which company introduced service :-
Now after the IOC, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has also started the home delivery facility of diesel. At present, these home delivery facilities have been started for Mumbai. The company plans to launch it in other parts of the country soon.
HP Fuel Connect will deliver diesel to selected customers who have fixed equipment and heavy machinery in the area of Raigarh in Raigarh. This is what HPCL said.
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) launched diesel home delivery facility in Pune this year in March. Like IOC, HPCL has also installed a diesel dispenser, it is as it is seen on the petrol pump.
Storage tank has been fitted on a mid-size truck so that the fuel can be transported to the customers of Pune’s customers.
- 500 rupees notes printed fast, know why now will not print 2000 and note :-
Given the recent cash flows in ATMs of most parts of the country, the process of printing of Rs.500 notes in all printing presses had been expedited.
Given the high demand, the notes of rupees worth around Rs 3000 crore are now being printed every day.
This information was given by Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg.
At present, circulation has a circulation of about Rs 7 lakh crore worth 2000 rupees, which is more than sufficient quantity, therefore new notes of Rs 2000 are not being issued.
People use more than 500, 200 and 100 notes in transactions. They are not comfortable using the 2000 note. 500 rupees notes have been supplied in sufficient quantity. While increasing the speed of printing, we have made a note of 500 rupees worth of 2500 to 3000 crores in a day. It is more than demand.
9.India’s economic growth rate in the current financial year was more than 7%, then the hope of doubling the Indian economy in a decade: ADB :-
Asian Development Bank has said that India’s gross domestic product growth rate is estimated to be more than seven percent in the current financial year.
The bank said that if this speed continues, then the Indian economy could double in a decade.
Asian Development Bank chief economist Yasu Yuki Sawada said in a meeting with PTI that India should not be worried about achieving the growth rate of eight percent, but should increase domestic demand by reducing inequality in earnings.
The Asian Development Bank has projected the growth rate of India to be the highest growth rate of Asian economy in 2018-19 with seven point three percent and 2019-20 growth rate of seven decimal six percent.
10.The possibility of a Trump-Kim summit in Singapore :-
U.S. President Donald Trump and Kim Jong, the ruler of North Korea – may be among them in the summit in June in Singapore.
The South Korean newspaper ‘ Chosun Ilbo ‘ has said this in its news published on Monday.
Trump had said on the last weekend that the date and place for the summit between the two leaders has been decided.
This will be the first meeting between the US President and the Korean ruler. South Korea’s newspaper has quoted diplomatic sources as saying that the historic summit will be held in mid-June. The source quoted Trump’s National Security Advisor John Bolton as saying. South Korea Yonhaj news agency as per the reports of similar , may be meeting in Singapore between Trump and Kim.
