1.सरकार ने राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति का अंतिम प्रारूप तैयार करने के लिये समिति का गठन किया :-
राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति का मसौदा तैयार करने के लिये सरकार ने प्रसिद्ध वैज्ञानिक पद्म विभूषण डॉ
के. कस्तूरीरंगन की अध्यक्षता में एक समिति गठित की है।
डॉ. वसुधा कामत शिक्षा तकनीक के क्षेत्र की एक सुप्रसिदध विद्वान है जिन्होंने स्कूली शिक्षा के क्षेत्र
में व्यापक योगदान दिया है। वे एसएनडीटी विश्वविद्यालय मुंबई की कुलपति भी थीं।
श्री के.जे. अलफोन्से को स्कूली शिक्षा के सुधार में आने वाली व्यवहारिक चुनौतियों से निपटने का
प्रशासनिक अनुभव है।
केरल के कोट्टायम और अरनाकुलम जिलों में 100% साक्षरता हासिल करने में उनकी अहम भूमिका
थी।
2.पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के राज्य जीएसटी से लाभान्वित होंगे: डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह :-
पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के आठ राज्य भी उन राज्यों में शामिल हैं, जिनके 30 जून और 1 जुलाई की मध्यरात्रि
से जीएसटी को लागू करने से लाभान्वित होने की संभावना है।
कुछ हलकों में व्याप्त गलत धारणाओं के विपरीत जीएसटी इन राज्यों को भी भारत के अधिक
विकसित राज्यों के साथ कदम-से-कदम मिलाकर राजकोषीय वृद्धि हासिल करने का अवसर प्रदान
करेगा और इस तरह उनकी अपनी कमियों की भरपाई कर देगा।
3.श्री जेटली ने राज्य में जीएसटी लागू करने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री महबूबा मुफ्ती सईद से आग्रह किया
:-
केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री श्री अरुण जेटली ने जम्मू-कश्मीर की मुख्यमंत्री महबूबा मुफ्ती सईद को एक पत्र
लिखकर बाकी राज्यों के साथ-साथ जम्मू-कश्मीर में भी 1 जुलाई, 2017 से वस्तु एवं सेवा कर
(जीएसटी) लागू करने का आग्रह किया।
अपने पत्र में वित्त मंत्री ने आगे कहा है कि संविधान की धारा 370 के मुताबिक, भारत के संविधान में
किए गए संशोधन राज्य सरकार की सहमति से जम्मू-कश्मीर राज्य पर लागू होते हैं, जैसा कि
राष्ट्रपति अपने आदेश के अनुसार निर्दिष्ट कर सकते हैं।
उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति के आदेश के लिए मुख्यमंत्री से जम्मू-कश्मीर राज्य की विशेष संवैधानिक स्थिति
को ध्यान में रखते हुए कोई संशोधन आवश्यक समझने पर संविधान (101वां संशोधन) अधिनियम,
2016 के संदर्भ में राज्य की सहमति भेजने का अनुरोध किया।
4.मोदी-ट्रंप मुलाकात से पहले भारत को बड़ी कामयाबी, सलाहुद्दीन अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आतंकी घोषित :-
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप की मुलाकात से ठीक पहले भारत को
आतंकवाद के खिलाफ रणनीति में बड़ी सफलता मिली।
अमेरिका ने आतंकी संगठन हिजबुल मुजाहिदीन के सरगना सैयद सलाहुद्दीन को अंतरराष्ट्रीय
आतंकी घोषित कर दिया है।
इसके लिए अमेरिका ने कश्मीर में हुए आतंकी हमलों को मुख्य आधार बनाया है। आतंकी सरगना
को मोहम्मद यूसुफ शाह के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
5.Kavita Devi first Indian woman ever to appear in WWE :-
Former Indian powerlifter and South Asian Games gold medal winner, Kavita
Devi will be making history as she becomes the first Indian woman to appear
in WWE.
Kavita has been selected to compete in the Mae Young Classic which is the
first-ever WWE tournament for women. She was selected after taking part in
the WWE Dubai tryout earlier this year in April wherein she caught the
attention of talent scouts.
6.World Bank sanctions 44 million dollars for ASPIRe :-
World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors has approved a loan assistance of
44 million dollars for the Assam State Public Finance Institutional Reforms
(ASPIRe) Project.
The loan was sanction by World Bank (International Bank for Reconstruction
and Development).
The project aims at improving predictability and transparency in budget
execution and efficiency in tax administration in Assam.
7.US approves sale of 22 Guardian drones to India :-
The US has cleared the sale of 22 unmanned Guardian drones to India, a
deal being termed as a “game changer” ahead of Prime Minister Narendra
Modi’s visit to Washington for his maiden meeting with President Donald
Trump.
The deal, estimated to be worth $2to 3 billion, has been approved by the
State Department.
The Indian Navy had made the request for this intelligence, surveillance and
reconnaissance (ISR) platform last year.
8.World Bank-AIIB Sign Loan Agreement for Power Project :-
World Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) have together
signed a $380 million loan agreement with the Government of Andhra
Pradesh to help the state in providing reliable, quality, and affordable 24×7
power supply to its citizens.
The World Bank and AIIB will provide loans in a 60 to 40 ratio for all
components of the project. The energy demand in Andhra Pradesh is expected to grow to 78,900 GWh
(Gigawatt-hour) by FY 2019 from 56,313 GWh in FY 2015, which signifies an
annual energy requirement of more than 8.5 per cent.
