1.श्री किरेन रिजिजू ने एनएसजी द्वारा आयोजित पहली राष्ट्रीय कैनाइन संगोष्ठी में भाग लिया :-
केन्द्रीय गृह राज्य मंत्री श्री किरेन रिजिजू ने आज हरियाणा के गुरुग्राम में मानेसर स्थित राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा गार्ड के परिसर में एनएसजी द्वारा आयोजित पहली राष्ट्रीय कैनाइन संगोष्ठी में हिस्सा लिया। देश में “ब्लैक कैट्स” के नाम से लोकप्रिय एनएसजी दो दिवसीय संगोष्ठी का आयोजन कर रहा है।

The Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju attended the first National Canine Seminar organized by National Security Guard (NSG), in NSG Campus, Manesar (Gurugram), Haryana today. The NSG, popularly known as “The Black Cats” of the country is organizing this two-day seminar.
2.डॉ. जितेन्द्र सिंह ने सतर्कता नियमावली का सातवां संस्करण जारी किया, अधिक पारदर्शिता लाने के लिए अब यह ऑनलाइन भी उपलब्ध :-
केन्द्रीय पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र विकास, प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय, कार्मिक, जन शिकायत और पेंशन, परमाणु ऊर्जा और अंतरिक्ष राज्य मंत्री डॉ. जितेन्द्र सिंह ने यहां केन्द्रीय सतर्कता आयोग (सीवीसी) की सतर्कता नियमावली का सातवां संस्करण जारी किया।सतर्कता नियमावली का वर्तमान संस्करण एक सार्वजनिक दस्तावेज है जिस तक सीवीसी की वेबसाइट www.cvc.nic.in के जरिए पहुंचा जा सकता है। ऑनलाइन संस्करण प्रकाशित संस्करण के साथ पहली बार जारी किया गया है।
Dr Jitendra Singh releases the 7th edition of the Vigilance Manual :-
The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh released the 7th edition of the Vigilance Manual of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) here . The present edition of the Vigilance Manual is a public document accessible through CVC’s website www.cvc.nic.in. The online version has been released along with the printed version for the first time.
3.श्रीमती निर्मला सीतारमण ने रक्षा मंत्री का पदभार संभाला :-
श्रीमती निर्मला सीतारमण ने यहां रक्षा मंत्री का पदभार संभाल लिया। साउथ ब्लॉक में रक्षा मंत्रालय पहुंचने पर निवर्तमान रक्षा मंत्री श्री अरुण जेटली, रक्षा राज्य मंत्री डॉ. सुभाष भामरे, रक्षा सचिव श्री संजय मित्रा, रक्षा सचिव (रक्षा उत्पादन) श्री ए.के. गुप्ता, डीआरडीओ के अध्यक्ष और रक्षा विभाग, अनुसंधान और विकास में सचिव डॉ. एस. क्रिस्टोफर और अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने श्रीमती सीतारमण की अगवानी की। श्रीमती सीतारमण भारत की पहली पूर्णकालिक महिला रक्षा मंत्री हैं। पदभार संभालने के बाद रक्षा मंत्री ने 13 करोड़ रुपये की मंजूरी दी, जो सशस्त्र सेना झंडा दिवस कोष से 8685 पूर्व सैनिकों, उनकी विधवाओं और उनके आश्रितों के लिए जारी की जाएगी। श्रीमती सीतारमण ने रक्षा मंत्री पूर्व सैनिक कोष से वित्तीय सहायता देने की भी मंजूरी दी।
Nirmala Sitharaman takes over as Defence Minister :-
Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman took over charge as Defence Minister, here. On her arrival at the Ministry of Defence in South Block, Smt. Sitharaman was received by outgoing Defence Minister Shri Arun Jaitley, Minister of State for Defence Dr. Subhash Bhamre, Defence Secretary Shri Sanjay Mitra, Defence Secretary (Defence Production) Shri AK Gupta, Chairman DRDO & Secretary Department of Defence R&D Dr. S Christopher and other senior officials. Smt Sitharaman is the first full time Woman Defence Minister of India. Immediately after assuming office, the Defence Minister approved a grant of over Rs 13 crore which will be released for 8685 ex-servicemen, widows and dependants out of the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. She also approved financial assistance out of Raksha Mantri Ex-Servicemen Fund.
4.पूर्वावलोकन : युद्ध अभ्यास 2017 :-
वर्तमान में चल रहे भारत – अमरीका रक्षा सहयोग के तहत 14 से 27 सितंबर, 2017 तक अमरीका में वाशिंगटन के ज्वाइंट बेस लुइस मैकॉर्ड में संयुक्त सैन्य प्रशिक्षण – युद्ध अभ्यास 2017 आयोजित किया जा रहा है। यह युद्ध अभ्यास भारत और अमरीका के बीच चल रहे संयुक्त सैन्य प्रशिक्षण और रक्षा सहयोग के प्रयासों का सबसे बड़ा अभ्यास है। यह दोनों देशों में बारी-बारी से आयोजित किए जाने वाले संयुक्त अभ्यास का 13वां संस्करण है।
Curtain Raiser : Exercise Yudh Abhyas – 2017 :-
As part of the ongoing Indo-US defence cooperation, a joint military training, Exercise Yudh Abhyas – 2017 is being conducted at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington, USA from 14 to 27 September 17. Exercise Yudh Abhyas is one of the largest joint running military training and defence corporation endeavors between India and USA. This will be the 13th edition of the joint exercise hosted alternately between the two countries.
5.अंतर्राष्ट्रीय साक्षरता दिवस – 2017 :-
51वां अंतर्राष्ट्रीय साक्षरता दिवस 8 सितंबर, 2017 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्लीं में मनाया जाएगा और इसके लिए यूनेस्को द्वारा घोषित विषय ‘डिजिटल दुनिया में साक्षरता’ है। कार्यक्रम में गणमान्ये व्योक्तियों को सम्मारनित किया जाएगा और साक्षरता के क्षेत्र में सर्वश्रेष्ठा प्रदर्शन करने वाले राज्यों , जिलों, ग्राम पंचायतों तथा गैर-सरकारी संगठनों को साक्षर भारत पुरस्कानर प्रदान किए जाएंगे।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय साक्षरता दिवस प्रतिवर्ष 8 सितंबर को पूरे विश्वष में मनाया जाता है। 1965 में इसी दिन तेहरान में विश्वा कांग्रेस के शिक्षा मंत्रियों ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीवय स्तर पर शिक्षा कार्यक्रम पर चर्चा करने के लिए पहली बार बैठक की थी। यूनेस्कोश ने नवंबर 1966 में अपने 14वें सत्र में 8 सितंबर को अंतर्राष्ट्री य साक्षरता दिवस घोषित किया। तब से अधिकतर सदस्य देशों द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष 8 सितंबर को अंतर्राष्ट्रीीय साक्षरता दिवस मनाया जाता है।
International Literacy Day – 2017 :-
The 51st International Literacy Day is being celebrated on 8th September, 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi and the theme announced by UNESCO is `Literacy in a digital world’. The programme would include; felicitation to the dignitaries, distribution of Saakshar Bharat Awards to the best performing States, Districts, Gram Panchayats and NGOs.
The International Literacy Day is celebrated on 8th September every year throughout the world. On this day, in the year 1965 the World Congress of Ministers of Education met in Tehran for the first time to discuss the programme of education at the international level. The UNESCO in its 14thSession in November, 1966, declared 8th September as the International Literacy Day. Since then, ILD is celebrated on 8th September every year by most of the member countries.
