1.श्री राजनाथ सिंह ने पर्यटन पर्व समापन समारोह का उद्घाटन किया :-
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने नई दिल्ली में राजपथ लॉन में पर्यटन पर्व के समापन समारोह का उद्घाटन किया।
केंद्रीय पर्यटन राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) के. जे. अल्फोन्स ने उद्धघाटन समारोह की अध्यक्षता की।
पर्यटन मंत्रालय केन्द्र सरकार के कई मंत्रालयों, राज्य सरकारों और कई साझेदारों के साथ मिलकर देशभर में पांच अक्तूबर 2017 से 25 अक्तूबर, 2017 के बीच पर्यटन पर्व का आयोजन कर रहा है।
Shri Rajnath Singh Inaugurates ‘Paryatan Parv – Grand Finale’ on Rajpath Lawns, New Delhi :-
Shri Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Home Affairs inaugurated the “Paryatan Parv-Grand Finale” at the Rajpath Lawns, New Delhi .
Shri K.J. Alphons, Minister of State (Independent charge) for Tourism presided over the inaugural function. Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with other Central Ministries, State Governments and Stakeholders has organized “Paryatan Parv”, a nation-wide celebration of Tourism from the 5th to 25th October 2017.
2.स्मार्ट शहरों में कौशल प्रशिक्षण के लिए एनडीएमसी के सहयोग से कौशल भारत मिशन के तहत भारत के पहले प्रधानमंत्री कौशल केंद्र का शुभारंभ किया गया :-
कौशल प्रशिक्षण में गति लाने के उद्देश्य से केंद्रीय पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस तथा कौशल विकास व उद्यमिता मंत्री श्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के साथ केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह ने यहां स्मार्ट शहरों में कौशल प्रशिक्षण के लिए एनडीएमसी के सहयोग से भारत के पहले प्रधानमंत्री कौशल केंद्र (पीएमकेके) का उद्घाटन किया।
दोनों मंत्रियों ने नई दिल्ली के मोतीबाग में कौशल विकास केंद्र और धरम मार्ग में उत्कृष्टता केंद्र की आधाशिलाएं भी रखीं।
India’s First Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra for Skilling in Smart Cities :-
To bring momentum in skilling through collaborative efforts, the Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh along with Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan here today inaugurated India’s first Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) for Skilling in Smart Cities, in collaboration with New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
The ministers also laid the foundation for a Skill Development Centre at Moti Bagh and a Centre of Excellence at Dharam Marg, New Delhi.
3.श्री आलोक कुमार पटेरिया को सीआईएसएफ में अपर महानिदेशक नियुक्त किया गया :-
मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति ने श्री आलोक कुमार पटेरिया, आईपीएस (एमपी-86) को सीआईएसएफ में प्रतिनियुक्ति आधार पर अपर महानिदेशक नियुक्तो किया गया है।
उनका कार्यकाल पद ग्रहण करने की तारीख से उनकी सेवा निवृति की तारीख 31 मई, 2020 या अगले आदेश तक जो भी पहले हो, तक के लिए की गई है।
Shri Alok Kumar Pateria appointed as ADG, CISF :-
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Alok Kumar Pateria, IPS (MP:86) as Additional Director General, CISF on deputation basis for a period upto 31.05.2020 i.e. date of his superannuation from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
4.केन्द्र सरकार ने श्री दिनेश्वर शर्मा को जम्मू एवं कश्मीर में अपना प्रतिनिधि नियुक्त किया :-
एक अहम घटनाक्रम में, केन्द्र सरकार ने खुफिया ब्यूरो (आईबी) के पूर्व निदेशक श्री दिनेश्वर शर्मा को जम्मू एवं कश्मीर में भारत सरकार का प्रतिनिधि नियुक्त किया है ताकि वह जम्मू एवं कश्मीर राज्य के निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधियों, विभिन्न संगठनों तथा संबंधित व्यक्तियों के साथ बातचीत की प्रक्रिया को आगे बढ़ा सकें।
श्री शर्मा जम्मू एवं कश्मीर के सभी वर्गों खासकर, युवाओं के साथ समग्र वार्ता करेंगे और उनकी अपेक्षाएं तथा आकांक्षाएं जानकर राज्य सरकार व केन्द्र सरकार को अवगत कराएंगे।
Centre appoints Shri Dineshwar Sharma as its Representative in J&K :-
In a major development, the Centre today appointed Shri Dineshwar Sharma, former Director of Intelligence Bureau, as the Representative of Government of India to initiate and carry forward a dialogue with the elected representatives, various organizations and concerned individuals in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Shri Sharma will initiate a sustained interaction and dialogue to understand the legitimate aspirations of the wide cross sections of society, particularly the youth in Jammu and Kashmir and communicate them to the State Government and the Centre.
5.नविका सागर परिक्रमा- तरिणी फ्रीमैंटल (ऑस्ट्रेलिया) पहुंची :-
आईएनएसवी तरिणी अपनी विश्व भ्रमण की पहली यात्रा के दौरान आज फ्रीमेंटल (ऑस्ट्रेलिया) बंदरगाह पहुंची। भारतीय महिलाओं के इस दल की विश्व भ्रमण की यह पहली यात्रा है।
पोत की कैप्टन लेफ्टिनेंट कमांडर वर्तिका जोशी है और इसके चालक दल में लेफ्टिनेंट कमांडर प्रतिभा जामवल, पी. स्वाति और लेफ्टिनेंट एस विजया देवी, वी.एश्वर्या तथा पायल गुप्ता शामिल हैं।
Navika Sagar Parikrama – Tarini Enters Fremantle :-
INSV Tarini entered Fremantle (Australia) port today during it’s maiden voyage to circumnavigate the globe.
This is the first-ever Indian circumnavigation of the globe by an all-women crew. The vessel is skippered by Lieutenant Commander Vartika Joshi, and the crew comprises Lieutenant Commanders Pratibha Jamwal, P Swathi, and Lieutenants S Vijaya Devi, B Aishwarya and Payal Gupta.
6.भारतीय डाक भुगतान बैंक ने सुरेश सेठी को प्रबंध निदेशक और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी नियुक्त किया :-
भारतीय डाक भुगतान बैंक (आईपीपीबी) ने वोडाफोन एम-पैसा लिमिटेड के पूर्व प्रबंध निदेशक श्री सुरेश सेठी को आईपीपीबी के मुख्य प्रबंध निदेशक और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी के पद पर नियुक्त किया है। श्री सेठी की नियुक्ति बैंक बोर्ड ब्यूरो ने की है।
इस पद के लिए सार्वजनिक और निजी क्षेत्र के बैंकों के कई शीर्ष अधिकारी दौड़ में थे। श्री सेठी को बैंकिंग और वित्तीय सेवाओं के क्षेत्र में 27 वर्षों से अधिक का अनुभव है। उन्होंने सिटी ग्रुप, यस बैंक और वोडाफोन एम-पैसा के साथ भारत, केन्या, ब्रिटेन, अर्जेंटीना और अमरीका में कार्य किया है।
IPPB appoints Suresh Sethi as its MD & CEO :-
India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has appointed Mr. Suresh Sethi, the former MD of Vodafone M-Pesa Ltd. as its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sethi had been selected by the Banks Board Bureau from amongst top contenders for the post, from both public and private sector Banking and Fintech professionals.
Mr. Sethi has broad international experience of over 27 years in the Banking and Financial Services industry with Citigroup, YES Bank and Vodafone M-Pesa across India, Kenya, UK, Argentina and US. He has extensively worked in the Financial Inclusion space leveraging Fintech and digital led innovation.
