1.एसबीआई ने सीएसआर पहल “ग्राम सेवा” शुरू की :-
देश की सबसे बड़ी ऋणदाता भारतीय स्टेट बैंक ने सीएसआर(कॉर्पोरेट सोशल रिस्पोंस्बिलिटी) पहल, एसबीआई ग्राम सेवा शुरू की, जो स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, पर्यावरण और ग्रामीण बुनियादी ढांचे के क्षेत्र में काम करेगी।
एसबीआई फाउंडेशन सीएसआर पहल करने के लिए गैर-सरकारी संगठनों की पहचान करेगा और उनके साथ साझेदारी करेगा, जिसके अंतर्गत 10 ग्राम पंचायतों में से प्रत्येक के पांच गांवों को चुना जायेगा एवं प्रत्येक गांव अगले तीन वर्षों में 2.40 करोड़ रुपये प्राप्त करेंगे।
SBI Gives Leg-up to CSR Initiatives :-
The nation’s largest lender State Bank of India launched a CSR initiative, SBI Gram Seva, which will work in the areas of health, education, environment and rural infrastructure.
The SBI Foundation will identify and partner with NGOs to carry out CSR initiatives under which it adopt five villages each from 10 village panchayats with each village getting around Rs 2.40 crore over the next three years.
2.इटली करेगा जी -7 गृह मंत्रियों के शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी :-
इटली, सुरक्षा मुद्दों पर केंद्रित जी -7 के गृह मंत्रियों के एक सम्मेलन की मेजबानी करेगा।
इटली के गृह मंत्री मार्को मिनिनिती के अनुसार, इटली, जी -7 के देशों कनाडा, फ्रांस, जर्मनी, यूनाइटेड किंगडम, जापान और संयुक्तराज्य अमेरिका के अनुरोध पर बैठक का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।
इटली वर्तमान में जी -7 औद्योगिक देशों जिसकी अध्यक्षता प्रत्येक वर्ष परिवर्तित होती है, की मेजबानी कर रहा है।
यह शिखर सम्मलेन अक्टूबर में आयोजित होने की उम्मीद है
Italy to Host G-7 Interior Ministers’ Summit :-
Italy will host a summit of G-7 interior ministers centered on security issues.
According to Italian Interior Minister Marco Minniti, the meeting is being organized at the request of Italy’s G-7 partners namely Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States.
Italy currently holds the rotating helm of the G-7 industrialized nations.
The summit is expected to be held in October.
3.सीसीईए ने रणनीतिक विनिवेश के लिए दीपम के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी :-
आर्थिक मामलों की मंत्रिमंडल समिति ने रणनीतिक विनिवेश के लिए निवेश विभाग और सार्वजनिक परिसंपत्ति प्रबंधन, दीपम के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी है। यह अनुमोदन रणनीतिक विनिवेश लेनदेन को तेजी से पूरा करने में मदद करेगा।
विभाग, आमंत्रित करने के चरण से लेकर वित्तीय बोली लगाने तक बिक्री के नियमों और शर्तों से संबंधित मामलों पर निर्णय लेने के लिए वित्त मंत्री, सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री और प्रशासनिक विभाग मंत्री सहित एक वैकल्पिक तंत्र स्थापित करेगा।
दीपम, केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्रालय की एक शाखा है जो सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों के वित्तीय पुनर्गठन के मामलों में और उनमे पूंजी बाजारों के माध्यम से निवेश आकर्षित करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार को सलाह देने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। यह सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों में केंद्रीय सरकार की इक्विटी की बिक्री से संबंधित सभी मामलों का निपटारा करेगा।
CCEA Approves Proposal of DIPAM for Strategic Disinvestment :-
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, CCEA has approved the proposal of Department of Investment and public Asset Management, DIPAM for the strategic disinvestment. The approval will help in speedy completion of strategic disinvestment transactions.
The department will set up an alternative mechanism comprising of the Finance Minister, Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Minister of Administrative Department, to decide on the matters relating to terms and conditions of the sale from the stage of inviting of Express of Interests till inviting of financial bid.
DIPAM is the nodal agency of Union Finance Ministry mandated to advise the Union Government in the matters of financial restructuring of PSUs and also for attracting investment through capital markets. It will also deal with all matters relating to sale of Union Government’s equity in PSUs.
4.अमेरिका एवं जापान, भारत, दक्षिण कोरिया, ऑस्ट्रेलिया के साथ रक्षा सहयोग को बढ़ावा देंगे :-
उत्तर कोरिया के खतरनाक एवं उत्तेजक व्यवहार को देखते हुए अमेरिका और जापान, भारत, दक्षिण कोरिया और ऑस्ट्रेलिया जैसे देशों के साथ अपने बहुपक्षीय सुरक्षा और रक्षा सहयोग को अग्रिम करने पर सहमत हुए हैं।
मंत्रियों ने इस क्षेत्र में अन्य सहयोगियों विशेष रूप से कोरिया गणराज्य, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, भारत और दक्षिण पूर्व एशियाई देशों के साथ त्रिपक्षीय और बहुपक्षीय सुरक्षा और रक्षा सहयोग अग्रिम करने के लिए चल रहे गठबंधन प्रयासों पर प्रकाश डाला।
अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्री रेक्स टिलरसन ने कहा कि अन्य देशों के सहयोग से, वे उत्तर कोरिया को उसके अवैध परमाणु और बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल कार्यक्रम को समाप्त करने के लिए राजनयिक और आर्थिक दबाव के काम को जारी रखेंगे।
US, Japan Boost Defence Cooperation with India, S Korea, Australia :-
The US and Japan have agreed to advance their multilateral security and defence cooperation with countries like India, South Korea and Australia in view of North Korea’s dangerous provocative behaviour.
The ministers highlighted ongoing Alliance efforts to advance trilateral and multilateral security and defence cooperation with other partners in the region, notably the Republic of Korea, Australia, India and Southeast Asian countries.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told that in cooperation with other nations, they will continue to employ diplomatic and economic pressure to convince North Korea to end its illegal nuclear and ballistic missile program.
5.श्रमिकों के कल्याण के लिए राष्ट्रपति ने खनन कंपनियों को नीति बनाने के लिए कहा :-
नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा पुरस्कार (खान) -2013 और 2014 के दौरान, श्री कोविंद ने खनन कंपनियों में दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम के लिए खानों में विश्वस्तरीय सुरक्षा उपायों को जगह देने के लिए कहा।
राष्ट्रपति ने कहा, खनिज क्षेत्र का देश के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद में 2.6 प्रतिशत का योगदान है और यह दैनिक आधार पर 10 लाख से अधिक लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष रोजगार प्रदान करता है।
उन्होंने कहा कि खानों में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा पुरस्कार देश के खानों में सुरक्षा और कल्याण मानकों को कायम रखने के लिए एक उत्कृष्ट प्रेरक बना रहेगा।
यह पुरस्कार प्रत्येक खान के एक प्रबंधन प्रतिनिधि और एक श्रमिक प्रतिनिधि द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से प्राप्त किया जाता है। पहली बार यह पुरस्कार 1984 में, 1982 और 1983 के लिये दिए गए थे।
President Asks Mining Companies to Make Policy for Welfare of Labourers :-
During the National Safety Awards (Mines)-2013 and 2014 in New Delhi, Mr Kovind asked mining companies to put in place world class safety measures in mines for prevention of accidents in mines.
President said, the mineral sector contributes 2.6 per cent of country’s GDP and provides direct employment to over 10 lakh people on a daily basis.
He said that the National Safety Awards in Mines will continue to be an excellent motivator for upholding safety and welfare standards in the mines of the country.
The award for each mine is received jointly by one management representative and one workers’ representative. The awards were given for the first time in 1984 for the contest years 1982 and 1983.
6.उच्च शिक्षा के लिए नई समग्र निधि :-
मंत्रिमंडल ने एक एकल कोष निधि बनाने की मंजूरी दी जिसमें माध्यमिक और उच्च शिक्षा उपकरों की सभी आय जमा किया जाएगा और उसे शिक्षा और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सरकार की योजनाओं के लिए उपयोग किया जायेगा।
गैर-रक्षित पूल खाते जिसे “माध्यमिक और श्रेष्ठ शिक्षा कोश” (एमयूएसके) के नाम से जाना जाएगा,के प्रशासन और रखरखाव के लिए मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय उत्तरदायी होगा ।
सकल घरेलू उत्पाद के प्रतिशत के रूप में, शिक्षा पर व्यय 2014-15 में घटकर 2.8 प्रतिशत हो गया, जबकि 2009-10 से 2013-14 के दौरान 3.1 प्रतिशत था।
इस नए कोष निधि का उपयोग चल रहे योजनाओं के वित्त पोषण के लिए और भविष्य में शुरू होने वाले कार्यक्रमों के लिए भी किया जाएगा।
New Corpus Fund for Higher Education :-
The Cabinet approved creation of a single corpus fund in which all proceeds of secondary and higher education cess will be credited and utilised for the government’s schemes in education sector.
The HRD Ministry will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the non-lapsable pool account which will be known as “Madhyamik and Uchchtar Shiksha Kosh” (MUSK).
As a percentage of GDP, the expenditure on education has dipped to 2.8 per cent in 2014-15, from 3.1 per cent during 2009-10 to 2013-14.
This new corpus fund would be used for funding ongoing schemes as well as programmes started in the future.
7.भारत ने वैश्विक पर्यावरण सुविधा (जीईएफ) अनुदान समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किये :-
भारत सरकार, छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्य प्रदेश की सरकार, वानिकी अनुसंधान एवं शिक्षा परिषद और विश्व बैंक ने वन गुणवत्ता, सतत भूमि प्रबंधन और मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ में वन पर निर्भर समुदायों के लिए गैर-टिम्बर वन उत्पाद से लाभ, को बेहतर बनाने के लिए वैश्विक पर्यावरण सुविधा (जीईएफ) से 24.64 मिलियन अमरीकी डॉलर के एक अनुदान पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। ।
पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र सेवा सुधार परियोजना, भारत के ग्रीन इंडिया मिशन (जीआईएम) के संरक्षण, पुनर्स्थापना और भारत के वनाच्छादित क्षेत्र को बढ़ाने और जलवायु परिवर्तन पर प्रतिक्रिया देने के लक्ष्य का समर्थन करेगा।
India Signs Global Environment Facility (GEF) Grant Agreement :-
The Government of India, the Governments of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education and the World Bank signed a US$ 24.64 million grant from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) to improve forest quality, sustainable land management and benefits from Non-Timber Forest Produce for forest dependent communities in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The Ecosystem Services Improvement Project will support the Government of India’s Green India Mission’s (GIM) goal of protecting, restoring and enhancing India’s forest cover and responding to climate change.
