1.पीएम मोदी के अIग्रह का असर, अब रविवार को नहीं मिलेंगे पेट्रोल :-
(I)पेट्रोल पंप 14 मई से हर रविवार को बंद रह सकते हैं। पेट्रोल पंप डीलर के संगठन कंसोर्टियम ऑफ इंडियन पेट्रोल डीलर्स (सीआईपीडी) ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के ईधन की कम खपत के आग्रह के बाद यह फैसला लिया है। संगठन के अध्यक्ष एडी सत्यनारायन ने कहा कि सीआईपीडी ने अपने सदस्यों से 14 मई 2017 से हर रविवार को पेट्रोल पंप बंद रखने की अपील की है।
(II)इस बीच इस निर्णय से खुद को अलग करते हुए ऑल इंडिया पेट्रोल डीलर्स एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष अजय बंसल ने कहा है कि दिल्ली समेत 21 राज्यों के पेट्रोल डीलर्स इसमें शामिल नहीं होंगे। पेट्रो कंपनियों के साथ कमीशन को लेकर बातचीत चल रही है। इसके अलावा पेट्रोल पंप मालिक ने 10 मई को ‘नो पर्चेस डे’ के रूप में मनाने की योजना में हैं।
2.सैमसंग भारत में सबसे विश्वसनीय ब्रांड :-
(I)ब्रांड ट्रस्ट रपट-2017 के अनुसार दक्षिण कोरियाई कंपनी सैमसंग भारत में सबसे विश्वसनीय ब्रांड है।
(II)इसके बाद सोनी और एलजी का स्थान है। शीर्ष पांच की इस सूची में टाटा एकमात्र भारतीय कंपनी है।
3.जेरेमी लालरिन्नुंगा ने रजत पदक जीता :-
(I)भारत के जेरेमी लालरिन्नुंगा ने आईडब्ल्यूएफ युवा विश्व भारोत्तोलन चैम्पियनशिप में लड़कों के 56 किलो वर्ग में रजत पदक जीता।
4.कुलभूषण जाधव को पाक ने सुनाई मौत की सज़ा :-
(I)जासूसी के आरोप में मार्च 2016 में गिरफ्तार भारत के पूर्व नौसेना अधिकारी कुलभूषण जाधव को पाकिस्तान ने इस्लामाबाद के खिलाफ युद्ध छेड़ने और जासूसी के आरोप में सोमवार को मौत की सज़ा सुनाई है।
(II)भारत ने इस पर कड़ी प्रतिक्रिया जाहिर करते हुए कहा कि बिना कानून और न्यायिक प्रक्रिया का पालन करते हुए अगर जाधव को फांसी की सज़ा दी जाती है तो यह सुनियोजित हत्या होगी।
5.केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने भारत एवं ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच हुए एक सहमति पत्र को मंजूरी दी :-
(I)केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने संचारी रोगों एवं मानसिक स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए भारत एवं ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच हुए एक सहमति पत्र को मंजूरी दी।
6.Camps for endosulfan victims held in Kerala :-
As many as 3,884 suspected victims attended the special endosulfan medical camps held in five locations as the five-day long exercises wound up here on Sunday.
7.12th Indo-Mongolian Joint Military Exercise Nomadic Elephant held in Vairengte :-
The twelfth edition Indo-Mongolian Joint Military Exercise Nomadic Elephant 2017 has begun at Vairengte in Mizoram. Vairengte houses Indian Army’s elite Counter-Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School.
8.Parliament passes Constitution (SCs) order (Amendment) Bill, 2017 :-
Parliament has passed the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order (Amendment) Bill 2017 after it was passed by Rajya Sabha. It was already passed by Lok Sabha in March 2017.
9.First UK rail freight service to China to depart :-
The first rail freight service from United Kingdom to China departed from Essex. The train service was launched as part of China’s ambitious One Belt, One Road (OBOR) initiative that aims to revive the ancient Silk Road trading routes with the West dating back more than 2,000 years.
10.Government launches Bharat ke Veer web portal and application :-
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has launched web portal and mobile application named “Bharat ke Veer” to enable people to contribute towards family of martyrs from central paramilitary forces. It was launched by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on the occasion of Valour Day of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), observed on 9 April.
11.PM Narendra Modi inaugurates exhibition marking 100 years of Champaran Satyagraha :-
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated an exhibition titled “Swachhagraha – Bapu Ko Karyanjali – Ek Abhiyan, Ek Pradarshani” in New Delhi mark the 100 years (centenary year) of Champaran Satyagraha.
12.Schools in Bhadrak to reopen today :-
As tension eased in violence-hit Bhadrak on Monday, banks and government offices partially reopened and administration reached out to all communities.Curfew was relaxed from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
13.Campaign for by-election draws to a close in Malappuram :-
Front (LDF) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took to the streets on Monday afternoon, causing tension and heavy traffic blocks in several parts of the Malappuram Lok Sabha constituency.Campaigning for the Malappuram byelection came to a frenzied finale by 6 p.m.
